ABOUT SHIPPING, PICKUP AND DELIVERY

Shipping

SHIPPING POLICIES:

We ship only within the United States.

Large orders may be shipped in multiple boxes and may require signature confirmation, you will be notified if this is required.

You are responsible for providing us an accurate and secure address for shipping deliver. If the item is returned by the shipping company, you will be responsible for any return fees and reshipment fees. The item will be reshipped after these costs are paid.

SHIPPING METHODS:

We currently ship using the US Post Office (USPS) and/or United Parcel Service (UPS). If you prefer shipping by a company other than these, please contact us in the form below to make the arrangements before placing your order.


Using USPS or UPS, you will receive notification by e-mail and a tracking number once item is picked up from our store. It is your responsibility to check on the status of your shipped product.

If your package is shown as "delivered" and you have not received it, please contact me ASAP. I will give you the info needed to research the location of your order.

ESTIMATED SHIPPING TIME:

Some of the items we offer are ready to ship. Others may need to be poured after getting the order. The product's description will give you an estimate of when you will receive it based on its stage of development.

Unusual weather conditions (rain, humidity, cold, etc.) can affect product manufacturing, completion, packaging, and transit time. Keep that in mind when ordering. 

SHIPPING COSTS:

You will be responsible for any sales tax.

 

Some ceramics are double boxed for the best protection. Shipping costs are set to cover the following:

  • Postage

  • Boxes

  • Bubble wrap and peanuts

  • Other packing and shipping materials, as needed

PICK UP OR HAND DELIVERY:

Local delivery within the Birmingham, Ala. metropolitan area is available. You can also arrange to pick it up at our store in Trussville. Please contact us (below) to make these arrangements.

In these cases, we prefer to handle the transaction direct to you, instead of through this website.

RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

Returns

RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICIES:

We typically do not accept returns. But will exchange generic items (non-custom orders) when you are unsatisfied. This includes when the item's delivery is refused or unclaimed. But, you must:

  • Contact me (below) within 3 days of delivery to receive my return instructions

  • Return the original (unused) item that you ordered

  • Ship the item back insured within 7 days of delivery using proper packaging

  • Pay a 25% restocking fee (not applicable to exchanges) and the cost of shipping it back

For a refund, we will credit the account you used in making the purchase.

If the item returned is not the original item you purchased, you will not be given a refund or allowed an exchange. If the item is damaged in any way (including if damaged in shipping back to us), you will be responsible for any loss in value.

ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY:

We will gladly cancel your order when you change your mind if you request a cancellation within 1 hour of the purchase. (Use contact form below.)

ITEMS WE CANNOT ACCEPT BACK:

The following items can't be returned or exchanged, unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Custom or personalized orders

  • Digital downloads

  • Items on sale, such as those marked “Clearance,” “Limited or Limited Offer,” “Last One,”, “As Is,” or “Slightly Irregular.”

DAMAGED ITEM POLICIES:

Should something happen to your order or one of the items in your order during shipment, you must contact me immediately (no later than 3 days after receipt) for instructions.

 

Also, your help is needed so I can make a claim to the shipping company. Photos of the damaged package and contents are needed. You must not throw away any of the damaged item(s), boxes, or contents, including bubble wrap, etc. These items will need to be surrendered to the shipping company, so you must hold on to them until the claims process is finalized.
